All of our software for Microsoft Excel is compatible with Excel 2007. However, with its new Ribbon user interface it presents a different look and feel and places the custom toolbars and menus in a different location. Excel 2007 also has a new Open XML file format which provides better security and response and will ultimately allow better interoperability with other applications. The old digital code signing certificate that we use to secure our software expired on December 28, 2006 in some of our applications. Depending on your Excel macro security settings, you may receive a message stating that the digital certificate has expired when opening one of our program files. In order to insure that our software is completely safe, we sign all of our applications with a digital code signing certificate. This insures that it came directly from DJI Computer Solutions and has not been tampered with. Unfortunately, Microsoft's poor handling of digital code signing certificates results in this message being displayed even though the certificate was perfectly valid when the application was created. Be sure to install the latest service pack and patches for your version of Microsoft Excel. It's easy to do and will make all your Office applications more stable, secure and error free. Just select Help - Check for Updates from the Excel menu or go to http://office.microsoft.com and click the Check for Updates link.
Excellerator is our first true "add-in" for Microsoft Excel. It provides a host of utilities for managing Excel names, comments, links, protection and view options. In addition to the new maintenance release of Handicap Manager for Excel that we posted for the for the 2008 golf season, we're working on a major new release of the software that provides a host of new features that make the program both more powerful and easier to use. In addition, it will greatly enhance its functionality for tracking golf leagues and team competitions. Look for its release later this year.
We're also working on a new minor upgrade of Checkbook for Excel. The new release will contain several minor enhancements to expand the functionality of the program.
We're continuing our enhancements of Project Manager for Excel and are in the process of preparing a free minor upgrade that will add several new and useful features that have been requested by a number of our users. It should be available for download later this summer.

In order to guarantee the security and safety of all the code in our software applications, we have acquired a Microsoft Authenticode Code Signing Certificate from Thawte, a VeriSign company that insures proper credentials and issues digital certificates. All of our applications have been signed with the digital certificate. This will insure that the code originated from DJI Computer Solutions and has not been tampered with, since any attempt to change or tamper with the code will remove the digital signature.
