Preparing Charts

Golf Tracker for Excel provides a number of different graphical analysis charting tools that let you chart your progress in all aspects of your game. Report data can be trended by round or summarized in 3D bar graphs and pie charts. This allows you a quick view of your progress in each area as you strive to improve your game. It also lets you to compare your performance to PGA Tour professionals, scratch golfers, or average golfers.

In order to prepare charts, you first must use the Prepare Reports function to isolate the information you would like to chart. All the charts either trend or summarize data from the Report Data sheet, so once you prepare a different report, the existing chart is no longer valid. Use the Prepare Chart function to update the chart to reflect the new report data.

Once you have prepared the report that contains the data you would like to chart, use the Prepare Chart button to display the Report Chart form. There are two tabs in the form, one for trend charts and the other for summary charts. Click one of the links below for more information on each chart type.
