Viewing Projects and Tasks

The Expand All and Collapse All tools in the Projects section of the Projects menu tab expand or collapse all the projects in the worksheet to show or hide their associated tasks. You can expand or collapse individual projects using the + or - sign in the border to the left of the project. The Hide Completed and Show Completed tools will hide or show all the completed tasks in the selected project.

You can also hide the entire Project Manager workbook so it operates in the background without getting in the way of any of your other open workbooks. The Hide Window tool in the Utilities section of the Projects menu tabhides the Project Manager for Excel workbook. (You can also hide it using the Hide Window tool in the View tab of the regular Excel menu.) The program remains functional even while hidden and will still display reminder alarms. To unhide and display the Project Manager window once again, you will need to use the Unhide tool in the Window section on the View tab in the regular Excel menu.
